On Being Glamourous
First thoughts on being
glamourous: Me? Never.
My friend, yes!: bearing, colours,
sparkle, and intention.
Intentionally, authentically
being fullness and glory,
adorned with truth that turns
light into spectrums of possibility,
all of which speak of Yes, this too fits.
Second thoughts on being
glamourous: There’s a radiance,
isn’t there, deeper than bedazzlement.
A core motivation toward a freedom
that seeks its release—This love
within the all-everywhere of wide creation-
love for being wholly and wondrously
fearless in showing up and showing forth
and proclaiming Welcome to who I am.
Whispered from cell to cell until rock
is most rock and flower is spectacle
and the animals in their languages
celebrate in orchestrated cacophony,
by night, by day, over land and water,
and humans behold one another
in recognition of grace
and know a sense of Home
that is windows and welcome and thank you.
