Prayer, 14 April, 2023

Let my pace be set by the ground beneath me;
let my faith be multiplied by the skies above;
let my heart be softened by those I meet; and
let my soul dance at the breaking of day,
expand at the breaking of bread,
and find its ease and rest in love surrounding. (1)

In this way, may I find myself open in all directions,
to what I know and what has yet to be revealed;
to the telling of the story,
to the living of this stumbling journey,
enticed by God; assured by God;
challenged and filled with wonder by God. (2)

Glory to God, whose power working in us
can do infinitely more than we can ask or imagine. (3)

Amen.
