Simply and Expansively
Say what you will of me,
I am more and I am beyond
the contour, the inflection, the sonorous limitation
of any language.
Find an image that sings to you of me
and know that it is a single facet, a prismatic
humming seen with a side-eye glance and
I will always, will always, be more.
Try and contain me within your rite, your praise,
your practice, your ritual, and then
go talk to your neighbour and learn
of the breadth of my beingness.
There was good reason my Word,
my “Who sent You?” identity,
was simply and expansively,
I Am.
