What Makes Poetry

What makes poetry?
She mused as she ambled.
It all makes poetry,
flared corvus brachyrhynchos in practical wisdom.
The pea gravel rolling,
the sensuous sum total that is wild rose in bloom;
The stones beneath and the fallen works of art;
the seedpod and the grey.
